Introducing a brand new children's book about one little girl's journey with cleft lip and palate. This non-fiction book explores the medical, social and emotional aspects that typically face a cleft-affected child. It's written from Zoe's point of view and includes actual photographs of Zoe from birth to age 6, including "Before" pictures prior to having her lip repaired.
Zoe wanted this book written so she would have a way to show and explain to her first grade class what it is like to have a cleft lip and palate, what it feels like and why she looks the way she does.
The message of the book is simple: Cleft kids are "regular" kids.
We hope you enjoy reading it! ~ Beth Gore
